Questions

The ones parents ask first.

Is this the real digital SHSAT format?: Yes. Item-level adaptive, 50 questions per section, passage sets with in-set revision, and all the technology-enhanced formats: multi-select, drag to category, inline dropdown, hot text, point graph, numeric entry.
My child is under 13. What do you collect?: A first name and a PIN. No email, no password, no photo. The account is yours; kids play under it. No ads or third-party trackers on any kid page.
Who grades the essays?: Essays open with the paid plans on November 19; they're off during the beta. An AI model grades against the rubric on a schedule, never as a chat. You see every essay and the feedback, and you can override the score. Anything off-topic or concerning is flagged to you and not scored.
Can I cancel?: Any time, from your account page. Founding families are never charged automatically — on November 19 you choose to subscribe or drop to the free tier.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?: It's a website that works on any of them. A home-screen install is coming after the season.
Which schools' cutoffs do you show?: Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Brooklyn Tech, and the other specialized high schools, updated each year from published cutoffs. Hunter shows a readiness band.
